INGREDIENTS:
225g pasta
1 sliced onion
1 seeded and sliced red pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
400g can chopped tomatoes
425 g can cheek peas
oregano, bay leaf, salt and ground black pepper
PREPARATION:
- Boil the pasta.
- Fry the onion and pepper in the oil for about 5 min until softened.
- Add the tomatoes, chick peas with their liquor and herbs.
- Season and bring to a boil then simmer for about 10 min.
- Lastly remove the bay leaf and mix with pasta.
